Dan Jacobs is a producer and director based in Las Vegas, where he owns and operates Mr. Camera, the full-service production company his father founded in 1981. A Las Vegas native, Dan has directed and produced across broadcast, branded content, live event capture, and long-form documentary work, and recently completed the first NGCB-approved recording salon on the Strip, a broadcast-capable studio built inside Park MGM for Netflix. His approach is grounded in craft and problem-solving. Whether designing multi-camera systems, managing crews on complex location shoots, or shaping a story in the edit, Dan brings the sensibility of a builder — someone who wants to understand every piece of the machine and leave behind something that lasts. He also serves as an adjunct film professor at UNLV, where he teaches the next generation of production professionals. When he isn't on set, he's usually fishing, drafting plans for his next build, or spending time with his wife Kathryn and their two children.
