Pricing
Simple, transparent fees.
You pay your crew directly for their rate — we never touch it. Mr Camera invoices you for one thing: a flat 5% booking fee, plus standard card processing at 2.9% + $0.30 if you pay it by card. That’s the whole story.
Your crew's rate
Paid direct
Your crew sets their own rate, invoices you directly for it, and keeps every dollar. It never passes through Mr Camera, and we never mark it up or take a cut.
Mr Camera booking fee
Flat 5%
A flat 5% of your crew's quoted rate — the only thing Mr Camera invoices you for. It covers sourcing, vetting, real-time availability, scheduling, and keeping the booking on the rails.
Card processing
2.9% + $0.30
Paying our booking fee by card adds the standard processor fee (2.9% + $0.30) on that fee alone, shown as its own line. It's the exact rate the card networks charge — we don't pad it.
What it looks like on an invoice
Say you book a crew member for a day at $5,000.00. You settle that with them directly. Here’s the invoice you get from Mr Camera:
- Crew ratePaid directly to your crew — not on this invoice
- $5,000.00
- Mr Camera booking fee (5%)
- $250.00
- Card processing (2.9% + $0.30, on the booking fee only)
- $7.78
- Total due to Mr Camera
- $257.78
Example only. Your actual crew rate is set by the crew you book and is payable to them on their own invoice; the booking fee above is calculated from that amount. Paying us by another method removes the card-processing line.
Good to know
Who do I pay for the crew's rate?
Your crew, directly. Once you confirm a booking, they invoice you themselves for their quoted rate, on their own terms — payment method, schedule, and deposit are between the two of you. Mr Camera never collects or holds that money.
Does my crew lose any of their rate to fees?
No. The crew receives 100% of the rate they quote. Our fee is billed separately to you — it's never taken out of their pay.
When and how do I pay?
Two payments, to two places. Your crew invoices you directly for their rate. Mr Camera separately emails you one invoice for its 5% booking fee, with a secure card-payment link — nothing is charged until you approve it.
Are there any other fees?
None. The flat 5% booking fee and the 2.9% + $0.30 card processing fee on it are the only charges Mr Camera Crew adds — no subscriptions, no per-inquiry charges, no hidden costs.
What exactly is Mr Camera Crew, then?
Scheduling and booking software. Crew on the roster are independent contractors — you engage them and pay them directly; Mr Camera finds them, checks their availability, and keeps the booking organized.
