Gaffer

With 30plus years experience I still feel happiest on set and feel like there’s always more to learn. Started my career in 1995 working in some of the local rental houses to learn the equipment but more importantly the lingo. Then someone finally gave me a chance, to work on a movie as a painter then later on while filming the same movie I was given the opportunity to work as a set electric. I’m dating myself here, that movie was Mars attacks and for me it was the chance of a lifetime. I spent the next 10 years working as a set electric on many features, pilots and episodics. Gradually started working as a rigging electrician on the same types of shows. Now I own a small grip and lighting company and mostly work as a gaffer on projects that I get called to do, big or small I just love it all. Working for Mr. Camera is honestly the highlight of my career if I’m being honest. Dan at Mr.Camera is exceptional at what he does and surrounds himself with exceptional people.
